We have reached the last full day of our journey in Florida and we went to Animal Kingdom for a couple of hours. Then went on an adventure to Fort Wilderness Campgrounds! For dinner, we went to Morimoto Asia and we had a great time! We even created some magic for some kids!
Today we had a late start to our day. We started heading over to Animal Kingdom around 9:45. I was sitting next to 4 kids with a mom watching them. I offered her my seat, but she said it is easier to wrangle in the group with her standing. My group thought of doing something nice by giving the magic to children so they could have another memory from their trip. I asked the mom first if it was okay and she said yes. I had extra pins I was going to trade, but instead I gave 4 of the pins to the kids and told them to remember this trip. It honestly warmed my heart that I was able to do that for them.
We made it to Animal Kingdom and just walked around. It was a lot of fun going into different areas I did not get a chance to walk through last time (A.K.A dino-land.) We did a full walk around and saw so many different animals. I was sad that while I was there, Expedition Everest was closed for refurbishment, but I understood why. We continued walking around and saw so many different animals and saw some boats with characters on them. We even saw Mickey and Minnie!
We made our way to Pandora, and we got some lunch. I tried the cheeseburger boa puns last time and decided to try them again…I feel down the middle on them. But this time I tried the Night Blossom from Pongu Pongu. I got the Night Blossom, but I asked for some popping pearls. It was probs my favorite non-alcoholic drink of the week!
We decided to head out of the park and start our resort hopping to Fort Wilderness Campground. Fort Wilderness is Lauren’s Disney Home! It was the place she would stay every year when she and her family went down to Disney World. It was cool seeing her stomping grounds! I loved seeing the Tri Circle-D Ranch where we saw the horses of Disney!
Afterward, we head back to Riverside where we repacked most of our things. I then went to the pool to go lounge around for a couple of minutes, but then after getting out of the pool, it got a little bit cold. I went back to the room and took a small nap.
Our last dinner event of the week happened at Morimoto Asia. Morimoto Asia is a restaurant from Iron Chef Morimoto. I recommend going here, but fair warning this place has a price tag on it. It is a lot, but it is worth it! I got myself the Pork Dumplings and Orange Chicken. I even tried Yuzu soda and if it wasn’t so expensive to buy the exact brand I would buy more.
This was probably my favorite last dinner of the trip. I am always a fan of Asian cuisine and it was the right thing to end our week with! After dinner, we went back to Riverside and packed whatever we did not need the rest of the night, and went to sleep.
