Let’s head to the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow! In the Thursday saga of our adventure in Disney World, our next bus ride took us to EPCOT-the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. One of my favorite things about our trip was the fact that we were there during the Festival of the Arts! This is the second festival I have been to at EPCOT with the Flower & Garden Festival that took place the last time I was there.

We rope dropped our day by going straight to Test Track! I went onto Test Track for the first time back in May when I was last in Disney World. It was so much fun, and I was so excited to be there again! This time we split into two different teams for our cars. It was Chelsea and me vs. Lauren and Nyx. It was even throughout the entire competition.

After this, our group split up into 2 different groups with Nyx and Lauren going to Journey into Imagination and Chelsea and I going to Soarin. Soarin’ is forever going to be one of my favorite rides at Disney. After Nyx and Lauren got out of Journey into Imagination, they went and grabbed something small before we all met back up and started our trek around World Showcase.

Before we started our trek around World Showcase, we swung by Pop Eats and picked up two delicious Grilled Cheeses and Tomato Soup. We grabbed the regular Grilled Cheese and the Brie Grilled Cheese with apple and bacon! They were both delicious!

We started to do our walk around the World Showcase at 12. We had a dining reservation at 2 for Teppan Edo. We had enough time to make our way around the world showcase to get us all the way over to Japan.

I want to check out more in EPCOT, but Teppan Edo will always be a place that I recommend since it is a mixture of dining and a show. Our server was Alexis, and our chef was Kazuki. I always love the atmosphere inside of the restaurant.

By the time we were done with lunch, we still needed to kill some time before our next reservation. So, we did a little bit of shopping in Japan. I even picked myself up a 5 pack of chopsticks. This is my first pack of chopsticks and I love them! It is a 5 pack of different colors and let me say, I have used the purple pair I have the most.

Maggie DCP Creation Shop

The creation shop is roughly the size of Mousegear, maybe even bigger. My biggest goal going into Creation Shop was to see my friend Maggie who is working in the Disney College Program. It was good to see her for a second. I even bought my first spirit jersey while I was in there! It has Harmonious on it, and I am in love.

We started to head around the world again, however, we started in Canada as a way for us to start heading towards France for our lightning lane at Remy’s. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a ride that puts you into the world of Ratatouille in the eyes of a rat. The ride is so interactive that you feel everything. Each glimpse of cold or hot air. Even quick jump scares. All in all, it is a cute ride.

We now started our true trek around the world with the goal of trying all the food from the Festival of the Arts. The first food that I tried was from the Encanto booth. (But they didn’t have Arepas, but now they do for the Flower & Garden Festival) I do not have a picture, however, there was an Empanada that was delicious.

I think one of my favorite things for food on this trip was the chicken kushiage from Goshiki. It was fried chicken with some vegetables and yum yum sauce. It was soooo good. And we even got a good look at Spaceship Earth with the sun setting. We tried some more food from throughout the booths. Everything that I have tried was so delicious.

Now at this point in the day, we were waiting for Harmonious to start and a good way for us to try and kill some time. Chelsea and I attended the Disney Broadway Series event going on at The American Adventure Amphitheater. It was cool seeing both Ashley Brown and Josh Strickland perform. For those who do not know, Ashely Brown was the Original Mary Poppins and Josh Strickland was the original Tarzan in the theatrical shows.

After the show, we all were starting to meet up at our spot for Harmonious, when a Cast Member noticed I was wearing the Harmonious spirit jersey. Well, let’s just say it was our lucky day when we got to go into a VIP viewing area for the show! This was truly a miracle moment, but it made the trip all the better. This was probably one of the best ways to end the night!
