It is now January 2022 which could only mean one thing…the reset of the Festivals at EPCOT! EPCOT has so many festivals throughout the year like their Festival of the Holidays with Santa Walks, Flower & Garden Festival showcasing beautiful topiaries around March, Food & Wine showcasing well…Food and Wine, and the Festival of the Arts! On my last trip, I was able to check out the Flower & Garden Festival where I got to see a Topiary of Winnie the Pooh. I am excited to say that on my next trip, I get the chance to check out the Festival of the Arts and I am so excited. The Festival of the Arts begins on January 14th and it has a lot of amazing feats involved from Paintings to amazing Cuisine!

DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series

If you are a fan of Broadway, this might be one of the best times to go down to Disney because of the DISNEY ON BROADWAY series. Each day, there will be 3 performances at The American Adventure pavilion. There are 12 different stars coming down and 2 of those stars will be part of the shows each day. Here is the list of all the stars performing in these shows!

Art Adventure!

One of the advantages of the festival is seeing all the different forms of art. One of the key aspects of the festival is the showcases. There are so many different art pieces that are showcased from many different collections such as Disney Fine Art by Collectors Edition, James Coleman Studio, and POP Gallery. While there are these galleries, there is also the Chalk Art where artists create pieces in front of the guests!

You can take on other adventures with art like learning how to draw your favorite Disney Character. At the Animation Academy, you have the chance to draw with an experienced animation artist at the helm. You get to learn the ins and outs of patterns and shapes to draw your favorite characters.

Finally, have you ever wanted to insert yourself into famous paintings? Well, you have a chance to with so many different art photo ops. Make a memory in one of your favorite paintings.

Artistic Foodie

And now we are on the third and final thing to discuss when it comes to the Festival of the Arts…the food and drinks! One of my favorite things about EPCOT is the chance to try some new cuisine or beverages. With the Festival of the Arts, you get to try food with an artistic taste. There are 15 different Food Stalls that range throughout EPCOT. This year we are getting a Figment Popcorn Bucket with rainbow popcorn!

Here is a small list of food I am looking forward to try:

Germany

Wild Boar Cassoulet

Vibrante & Vivido: Encanto Cocina (Between Morocco & France Pavilion)

El Artista Hambriento (Mexico)

Goshiki (Japan)

The Painted Panda (China)

And finally, a cool way to explore new food is by participating in the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. You go to different booths and try what is on the list from a passport. This is for the food connoisseur or someone looking to experiment with new food.

There are so many different things to try, it is worth it to check out the list!

I am so excited to check out the Festival of the Arts and see all the beauty of the Visual, performing, and culinary arts!

What is something you would want to try?
