What is one of the craziest experiences you have ever done? Well right now I am in the process of booking a Disney Trip with some friends and we are excited to go down! To be honest, most of my trips to Disney have been with family members and this is my first trip with some friends, and we are trying to make the most of it for the bang for our buck. So, this post is going to be about how to book your own Disney Trips.
Step 1: Budget
Well you see, I am an early 20’s college student who works part-time and goes to school full-time. This means that money is usually extremely tight because of paying for school and other living necessities. That’s some tight money, and Disney trips are usually expensive. So, the number one thing step of any trip is to try and discover a budget.
Step 2: Select your Hotel & Tickets
There are over 25 Disney World Hotels ranging from value to Deluxe Villa prices. Each hotel has something unique about them. Pop Century Resort you are a hop, skip, and a jump from the 60s, 70s, 80, and 90s. Art of Animation features a lobby showcasing the rainbow palate of color and exhibits. So many different options to choose to make your trip the most magical experience. At the same time as selecting your hotel, you can then plan your park days.
Step 3: Select Park Days
Walt Disney World is one of the biggest Disney Parks around the globe. Sitting on so many acres…Disney World is ever evolving with new rides, restaurants, and attractions. In 2022, there will be many new attractions coming, From the Galactic Starcruiser launching March 1st, 2022, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and TRON Lightcycle Run also coming within the same year, but let’s not forget the parks in total: four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, a Sports Complex, Golf Courses, Mini Golf Courses, and the Disney Springs Shopping Center.
Step 4: Put down Deposit
Paying for a Disney Trip can be very expensive, and it can be a financial burden to pay all at once. Luckily Disney gives you a chance to pay portions at a time. For my trip in February, we are staying from Sunday and leaving Saturday at a Moderate level resort. Disney has given us a chance to pay for a deposit to save the room for us until it is all paid. However, you must be all paid 30 days before you arrive.
Step 5: Plan Park Reservations
Since COVID-19, Disney has Implemented a park reservation system where guests must reserve their spot in the system If they want to go to the parks. Before you do that, you need to purchase your park tickets which you can do in Step 2. My park days in order are Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom with a rest day in the middle. (Big Tip….Magic Kingdom will be at its Craziest on weekends. Do with that information as you can)
Step 6: Plan Reservations & Other Must Dos
Inside of all the parks, shopping centers, hotels and more, there are many different reservations and activities to do. You can go to a different hotel and grab a dinner reservation like at 'Ohana at Polynesian Resort. You can go have dinner inside of Cinderella’s Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You can even reserve a spot for activities in the land of Batuu where one can build a lightsaber and building a droid. Disney allows guests to make reservations 60 days before they arrive for their trips. Now plan to make these reservations ASAP. So, when I say ASAP I mean when you can Because things fill quickly.
That is mostly what you need to know! What are some of you must dos when you go to Walt Disney World? Also, which hotel (money is no question) would you want to visit for your own trip?
