When it comes to being on a Disney Cruise, there is something for anyone. When it comes to your kids though, they have premier access to many different outlets on board the Disney ships. Teenagers have many different ways they can have fun onboard a Disney Ship. Here are some things teenagers can do!
Vibe (Exclusive 14-17 Club)
Okay to be straight to the point, one of the best options on board a Disney Ship is the teens only club Vibe. On the Disney Dream, Vibe is located on Deck 5, but you have to go through a secret entrance to get there. In Vibe, they have a couple of different rooms to hangout in. One room has a gaming area and the other room has a viewing area. Vibe also has their own exclusive deck with exclusive pool and hot tub. When I went on my first cruise, I rarely left Vibe unless if it was to have dinner with the family or to do stuff separately. (If you are going on a cruise soon with teens, have them check out the club on the first day for the icebreakers. They can make lifelong friends!
Movies
Disney Cruise Line is one of the best ways to see the newest movies for FREE...well as free as being part of the cruise cost. Disney Cruise line has movies playing in the Buena Vista theater. The best news is that the movies that they play on board are the newest releases. I watched Ant-Man for the first time on the cruise. The other movie that was playing was Inside Out.
While you can watch new movies in the Buena Vista Theater, you can also watch favorite and classic films on the top deck while lounging by the pool. The Funnelvision has movies and trivia playing everyday during the entire cruise. (Make sure you check your navigator to see what movies are playing.
Walt Disney Theater
Have you ever wanted to see a Broadway show, but could never afford it? Well you can do that on the Disney Ships! As part of the cruise entertainment, anyone can see the shows that are on board the ship!
Castaway Cay Specialty- (The Hangout)
If you are on a Bahamian cruise, there is a high chance you will be able to go to Castaway Cay. Luckily, there is a teen area on the island known as The Hangout. In the Hangout, teens can go and relax and hang out with people their own age.
No matter what you do on a cruise as a teenager, there is always something to do!
