This is a continuation on my blog on Favorite Hotels By Appearance.

In the previous blog, I started off by saying I have only been to 7 out of 25 different resorts on Disney Property. In the first post, I ranked my Disney Resort preferences, 7 through 5. Recapping 7th- Caribbean Beach Resort, 6th- Grand Floridian, 5th-Art of Animation. (If you want to see why I picked the ones I picked...check out the previous post. In this post, we are going to have other 4-1 rankings.

#4: Riviera Resort

The Riviera Resort is one of the newest resorts on Disney property. This elegant resort is designed based on the European Mediterranean coast and it is themed accordingly throughout the resort. On the first floor of the Riviera, there are posters in different languages of popular Disney movies! My reasoning for why this is number 4 in my list is because of the rooftop deck. On the deck you can see everywhere in Disney World. Looking one way you can see Pop Century & Art of Animation. In the distance you could see Tower of Terror, Tree of Life, Mount Everest, and when looking through a window near the restaurant Topolino’s Terrace, you can see Contemporary Resort, Spaceship Earth and spires of Cinderella Castle.

#3: Contemporary Resort

The Contemporary Resort is one of the resorts that falls along the monorail track. This hotel features modern design of building from the inside and outside. I also love the resort because it features a pool, beach, and a deck to sit under the stars. I had the privilege to be able to stay at the Contemporary and the rooms are impeccable. (Thank you to my Dad and his girlfriend for giving me, and her kids the best graduation trip ever! If anyone has time, watch my dad’s YouTube channel) I loved that when I got bored, I just rode the monorail around the hotel track. At night, it was fun to watch the Electrical Water Pageant.

#2: Pop Century

You may be wondering why this resort is so high up on my list and surpasses Contemporary. I have a deep connection with Pop Century Resort. It was the first resort I ever stayed at with my aunt when I was young. I remember swimming in the bowling pin pool. This hotel does not have a certain building style. The rooms are smaller but can comfortably fit a family of four. This resort is based pop culture through various decades. When entering Pop century, there is a sign that says “Remember When”. Each building is decorated as a different decade from the 60s to the 90s. This resort offers two different methods of transportation: the shuttle bus service and the Skyliner (Gosh I love that Skyliner). It is a value resort which means that it Is a cheaper price for those who are going on a budget.

#1: Polynesian Resort

Rounding out the list is my number one, more like bucket list to stay…but still number one, Polynesian Resort. This resort is on the Monorail track with the hotel designed as being in the south pacific. The landscaping is beautiful. The cast members wear luau-styled attire, and my personal favorite…It has Dole Whip. This resort is my number on bucket list resort to stay at because of the rooms. They just had an upgrade to some of the rooms to add a very popular Princess. I want to stay in one of the Moana themed rooms. I love what Moana stands for as being a person who is on her two legs standing strong, protecting her family and her people. (But I also love Pua & Hei Hei) Love them.

That wraps up my list for the resorts I have stayed or seen. Of course, this list will grow with time, but I am sticking with these current rankings. Again, here is the order of all the listed Resorts from number 1 to number 7:

1. Polynesian Resort

2. Pop Century Resort

3. Contemporary Resort

4. Riviera Resort

5. Art of Animation

6. Grand Floridian

7. Caribbean Beach Resort

Out of all the Resorts Listed in this ranking, what does your ranking look like?
