Festival of the Arts has returned to EPCOT and is full of new foods and merchandise. There are some major Festival of the Arts merchandise out there from a new Spirit Jersey and baseball hat to a new serving platter. One of the key aspects of the merch is Figment. Figment is a being who is a part of your imagination. However, with the all-new merch out there, there are some people who are going to break the rules and not follow the protocols Disney puts into place.
I am talking about the dang Figment Popcorn bucket. Don't get me wrong, the popcorn buckets are adorable, but they have already caused some trouble in Disney World. The protocol for the Popcorn buckets Is that there is a 2 per guest limit, however, there are resellers who are selling these buckets on eBay. There are some things that should be followed especially at Disney World. Even if the wait times reached a high for merchandise.
This screenshot of @terrificallytoni on TikTok whose video is now taken down shows two people who have giant bags worth of Figment Popcorn Buckets…in both bags. There are some people who decided to stitch their reactions to the incident. I agree with a bunch of the reactions, even those who have a not-so-Disney-friendly finger. There are people who wait patiently for their time to pick up the Figment buckets. But there are some people who care more about money, than those who like the character or those who are collectors. I have a family friend who is a popcorn bucket collector and he waited in a long line.
Whatever happens during the Festival of the Arts, I think it is important to recognize that people are already paying so much to enter the park and they want to purchase something that is retailing for $25 and not a reseller who is selling them for $100 or more.
I go down in a couple of weeks and I am excited to see all the new merch in person. The festival is still going to be fun with the chalk art, and all the art that is involved. I am excited to try and get the Figment Spork!!
